The authors describe the data from a ten-year follow-up period of twenty-five children with cerebral metastases of malignant neoplasms. The most frequent primary neoplasms were bronchogenic carcinoma and malignant lymphoma. Therapeutic results and prognosis of cerebral metastases depend on the characteristics of the primary tumour and local as well as general conditions. The authors point out the importance of centralization of treatment.
